My name is Simon, and this is my Web site. I'm a creative soul with a passion for art, design and cartooning.
I've had a strong passion for art my whole life, and Web design since about age 12. In the last few years I've become particularly interested in digital art, comics, illustration, and animation. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in Computation Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. I am now a film animation student, working toward an advanced diploma in that field. I currently live in Ottawa.
I have worked as a Web designer/developer and a graphic designer, most recently for the government of Canada's national parole board. In my spare time I enjoy drawing and creating art for my own pleasure, building and maintaining my various Web sites, and exploring the city to which I'm a relative newcomer. I also write and illustrate an online graphic novel (i.e. Web comic), publishing one page per week since early 2010. Outside of school and work, it's my main personal artistic project at the moment.
